This premium tow rope combines an extremely tensile UHMWPE core with a rugged polyester protective sheath. With an optimised diameter of 3 mm and an impressive breaking load of 900 daN (approx. 917 kg), it's built precisely to the high safety demands of paragliding tow launches.

The high-tech UHMWPE core delivers exceptional tensile strength at a very slim 3 mm diameter. That gives you maximum safety margin during the critical launch and climb phase, and it takes the loads of modern tow winches in stride.
The extremely low stretch of the UHMWPE fibres means changes in winch tension reach the pilot without delay. That gives the winch operator fine, precise control over line tension and prevents dangerous oscillation.
When releasing or retrieving, the rope inevitably drags across the ground. The dense polyester sheath reliably protects the load-bearing core from mechanical abrasion on grass or asphalt, as well as from wear on the winch drum.
Since tow ropes often lie in the sun on the runway for hours, or come into contact with agricultural chemicals on meadows, the polyester sheath completely blocks harmful UV radiation and environmental exposure.
For optimal organisation and best visibility at the launch site, the rope is available in four colour variants: yellow, blue, orange or grey. That makes it far easier to tell different rope runs apart during staged or double-drum towing, and improves safety at the field.
Thin at 3 mm but extremely dimensionally stable, the rope winds compactly and efficiently onto stationary or payout winches — the ideal, long-lasting solution for clubs and flight schools.
